Face Swap – music videos

Diana Ross – Project 1

For a recent face swap project, I crafted a unique and funny video for a birthday party, commissioned by friends to add some fun to the celebration. The task involved swapping her face onto her favourite video clip, the Diana Ross classic, “Love Child.” Using a face-swapping app, I created multiple short edits and stitched them together in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Quality enhancement

To enhance the quality, I addressed common face swap artifacts by applying blurring and resizing techniques to smooth out inconsistencies. For a final touch, I added a 2-pixel blur and 3% noise, ensuring the modified footage looked as close to the original as possible. Since the original audio was low quality, I purchased the track from iTunes and meticulously lip-synced the edits to match the new visuals. The square format of the original video was cropped in to be letterbox format. The result was a seamless transformation of the woman into Diana Ross and even her backup singers, creating a polished and entertaining gift for her close friends at the party.

ABBA Dancing Queen – Project 2

On the second project I needed to isolate one band member from the others. A little more masking involved but again, a great result. The image supplied is low resolution and not front facing but after extensive testing still did the best job compared to trying to recreating a front-facing AI version.
